What we do
The National Children’s Hospital Foundation was formed in 1952 and through its fundraising has made a significant contribution to the care and welfare of patients at the hospital.
Our priority areas of work over the next three to five years include
Providing hospital support through equipment and services to include arts/music therapy programmes and “comfort” fund for families.
The support of paediatric research through a programme of national research projects in partnership with the Health Research Board as well as hospital based research projects in partnership with Trinity College, Dublin.
Continuing to make available educational support for staff through a PhD Fellowship programme in partnership with Trinity College, Dublin as well as providing Scholarships / Bursaries for nursing education in ensuring our staff have access to the highest level of education and training to assist them in their work.
We also aim to support innovative projects that assist in the improvement of care for our patients and their families at the hospital.
All of this work is made possible by the kind and generous support of our donors and we truly appreciate this help.
